IGA Board forms new membership category
IGA BOARD FORMS NEW MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY
Affiliate Membership to Better Serve the Industry with Broad Scope of Membership
Brookville, Pa. - The International Glove Association has announced the revision of their By-Laws to include a new membership category within the association. The new category, Affiliate Membership, opens up the IGA to a wide variety of individuals and organizations associated with the glove industry.
Sensing the need to broaden the scope of the association's membership requirements and categories, the IGA Board of Directors created the Affiliate membership to better serve those within the glove industry. "We want to do everything we can to serve those in the glove industry," said David Burdge, Executive Director of the IGA. "Adding to our membership only enhances this industry as we bring new ideas and experiences into our organization." The Affiliate membership is available to representatives of manufacturers, trade press, users of hand protection, research and testing, insurance companies as well as many others within the hand protection industry.
Working to enhance the relationship between suppliers, manufacturers and distributors, the International Glove Association monitors legislative and regulatory developments as well as other areas. Full membership to the IGA is open to material suppliers as well as manufacturers and distributors of gloves.
