Showa Best Glove brings out new and exclusive Showa brand ATLAS® Opti-Grip glove and Best brand N-DEX® BWC disposable glove.
Atlanta, GA - Menlo, Georgia - Whether it is one-use disposable gloves or long-lasting general purpose gloves, innovation is the key to better and better hand protection to meet U.S. industry's changing needs.
At Showa Best Glove, research and development focuses solely on hand protection- everything from glove performance and durability to fit, flexibility, grip, color, aesthetics, ergonomics and user comfort. The result is new hand protection choices that workers like to wear on the job, everywhere from the factory floor to the laboratory and dental office and medical examination rooms.
The newest entrant to the American manufactured Best brand N-DEX® disposable glove line, the N-DEX® BWC (Because We Care) glove exemplifies how the company is designing new gloves to meet the preferences of the 70 million women in the U.S. workforce. This 4 mil, textured nitrile glove is manufactured in a soft feminine color that is both appealing and aligned with the breast cancer cause. It is a 100% nitrile, non-latex powder-free Class 1 medical grade glove. These ambidextrous gloves are 9.5 inches long with a rolled cuff and sized from extra small to extra large to accommodate women's hands.
"We're introducing this glove to show our appreciation for the many women who wear our gloves and to support breast cancer research and awareness," Bill Alico, Showa Best Glove President and Chief Operating Officer said, noting that a portion of the proceeds from BWC glove sales will be donated to breast cancer groups.
At the other end of the Showa Best Glove product innovation spectrum, the SBG exclusive ATLAS® Opti-Grip 340 brings wet and dry gripping power to the world-popular Showa ATLAS line of general purpose gloves. Engineered for easy movement and continuous wear, the ATLAS® Opti-Grip gloves benefit from Showa's unique ergonomic formers in the manufacturing process and are considered among the most comfortable gloves ever made. Exclusive to Showa Best Glove, these lightweight, elastic, low-lint gloves are coated with a specially designed lightweight but durable wrinkle finished purple latex that is etched for vice-like, anti-slip grip. Their grey, stretch-Nylon liner is ventilated across the back of the hand for outstanding comfort, and the glove fingers contain Spandex to maximize fit and provide superior dexterity and comfort.
At Showa Best Glove, the research and development effort that has produced both Best's N-DEX BWC and Showa's ATLAS Opti-Grip 340 is an ongoing effort. A team of more than 70 researchers is continually testing new hand protection ideas to make the U.S. workplace safer and to make gloves workers that workers are comfortable wearing.
